The back entrance of the Hospital is closed
ORANJESTAD, Aruba – October 2014: The process of the expansion and renovation of the Hospital requires considerable changes in the access to different departments of the Hospital. As of October 20th, 2014, the back entrance of the Hospital is closed. This entrance was used for the Emergency Department, the PAAZ (Psychiatry ward), Dialysis clinic, warehouse deliveries and patient/ employee parking.
The Emergency department is now located in the front by using the entrance to the Rehabilitation department situated in the front of the Hospital. This entrance is now used by the ambulance and to drop off patients for the Emergency department. This same entrance can be used for patients of the Rehabilitation department, Wound clinic and Department of Cardiac & Pulmonary physiology (ECG/EEG testing). Blood donors can also report here where a security guard will guide them to the Blood Bank.
In order to reach the PAAZ, Dialysis Clinic and for deliveries, please use the new entrance opposite Aquawindie’s, ± 100m further down the road.
There are signs and security guards that can further guide you to your destination at the Hospital.
