On premises

Cafeteria

The Hospital has a cafeteria where snacks, meals and also daily specials can be purchased.

Opening hours: 

8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Patients are not allowed in the cafeteria on account of their diet and hygiene.

Deli market

At the Deli Market located in the lobby of the Hospital has candy, fruit, postcards, magazines, and newspapers, amongst other things.

The opening hours are*:

- Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday from 10.00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

*Except on Christmas Day and Good Friday.

Pastoral care

The hospital is open to patients of all beliefs and religious convictions. If you would like to speak to one of the pastoral workers, please contact the pastoral service at extension 4400 or through the switchboard. The nursing staff can also provide you with more information on Pastoral care.

Every month, the Eucharist is celebrated in the Hospital cafeteria. Day and time will be announced in due time. If it is medically responsible, a patient can attend the celebration of the Eucharist with his bed/wheelchair. Your relatives are also most welcome. If desired, the patient can receive Communion in their room after the celebration of the Eucharist.

The chapel on the ground floor next to the Radiology Ward is open for a moment of rest, reflection, and/or prayer. It is open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Please keep in mind that it is not allowed to light candles to prevent any fire hazards.

Wheelchairs

The Hospital has wheelchairs available to visitors visiting the Hospital for treatment or examination. A wheelchair can be obtained after providing the receptionist at the Information desk with a valid ID. The valid ID will serve as a deposit and will be returned on return of the wheelchair.  Accessible car parking space for wheelchair patients is available. These patients can get a temporary parking permit at the Information Desk. We kindly as to return this temporary parking permit to the Information Desk upon departure.

Public and mobile telephone

There is a public telephone on each floor that can be used by patients. Cards for these public telephones are available at the Deli market located in the lobby.

The use of mobile telephone by patients and visitors is not everywhere allowed . The electromagnetic fields of a mobile telephone can cause malfunction of medical equipment. You are kindly requested to turn off your mobile telephone where necessary, or if you are asked to do so by the staff.

Library cart

Every Tuesday around 10a.m., volunteers of the public library will pass by to lend patients free books and magazines. If the patient is released in the interim, they will be asked to leave the borrowed books and magazines at the Information Desk located in the lobby.
